Bit of a surprise this one. XCOM is back but not as we know it. It was widely assumed that the good folks at Irrational Games – who were behind the original titles in the series – were hard at work at making a new installment but this edition is being made by 2K Marin, the team behind Bioshock 2.
Oh dear. Cliff Bleszinski from Epic Games was due to go on American telly last night to announce a new game. His spot was moved to Monday to add a bit more polish to the game, but looks like some of the Xbox web team missed the news and went ahead with this addition to the Xbox Live dashboard.
