Well this is a very pleasant surprise. I did not have high hopes for NIER at all. It is always a worry when a Japanese developer tries to make a game to appeal to us in the West. Initial signs were not good for NIER, with lots of bloody violence, macho characters and swearing featured in trailers. Heck, there is even a hermaphrodite in there. So I was shocked to find that I got sucked into the game, enjoying the story and having a ball in the company of the non-playable characters. Kick-Ass has been out in cinemas here in good old Blighty for a few weeks, but is only now just coming out in the USA. With the USA being the middle of the world, this means big important announcements and releases. First up is a trailer for the Kick-Ass game which is coming soon to PSN.
