Anyone who has played L.A. Noire will appreciate this hilarious clip from Funny or Die. The sketch highlights just how bad the ‘Doubt’ dialogue option can be in the game, turning the nice caring main character into a screaming maniac.

While looking at upcoming game releases I found this gem – a DS game based on Coronation Street where players take the role of a detective as they work through a brand new storyline and befriend the various characters from the street, including Ken, Norris, Maria and Blanche. Now this is no doubt going to be utter trash as per the majority of licensed fodder, but what if someone made a decent game based on a soap opera?

We’ve all been forced to pose for terrible school photo’s in the past, but across the pond our colonial counterparts have long made a tradition of posing for god-awful Christmas card pictures and inflicting them on friends and neighbours- And thanks to the internet, they are now a meme too! Awkward Family Photos is fast becoming hot, so check it out before your friends, and then look derisively down your nose at them when they mention it in six months- just make sure no-one has a camera when you do!

Crocodiles in sewers, claw-handed killers, Land Shark- and now, another urban legend turns out to be terrifyingly true: Toilet Snake!
Despite sounding like an overly-complicated cleaning product/sexual practice, the Taiwanese Toilet Snake has been up to his slippery tricks again, this time hiding down the U-bend before nipping hapless pee-er, from Nantou County, right on the family jewels. He was rushed to a nearby hospital and seems to be ok, a giggling hospital director informed us:
“As soon as he has passed the risk of infection, he can go -A snake’s mouth isn’t always clean.”
And that ladies, is why we always leave the toilet seat up.
