Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days is out in the very near future and while the game is a sequel you may have missed out on the original title as it came out rather early in the lifespans of the Xbox 360 and PS3. You can catch up on the lives of these crazed criminals thanks to these character vignettes, which are also useful as a refresher if you have played the first game seeing as it is coming up to it’s third birthday.

Warner’s have announced that Batman: Arkham City is the official title for the sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum. The game was first shown off with a teaser trailer back at Christmas 2009 at the Spike TV Game Awards, but it will not be released till Autumn 2011 – plenty of time to save the pennies then. The title is being developed by Rocksteady Studios, who were also behind the first game, and sees Gotham’s prisoners moved into Arkham City, a secured district in Gotham that has been set up to replace the ruined Arkham Asylum. Kanye West joined Twitter a few weeks ago, and has decided to follow just one person, a young student from Coventry called Steven Holmes. At first Steven was happy, but five thousand followers and countless messages later from Kanye’s 400, 000 followers he is sick of all the attention. To many it would sound like a dream come true – a famous person seemingly interested in your life, thousands of people now intrigued by you, centre of attention in tech news – however Twitter is filled with members of the general public who are annoying at the best of times so receiving hundreds of badly spelt and often hateful messages from them can’t be much fun. It’s not all bad though as he’s been offered some free Irn Bru.
No doubt it will be worse tomorrow now the papers have featured his story, and 4chan will soon be on the case to make his life even worse. Still – I would put up with constant messages saying ‘DON’ T H8 APPR8′ and ‘NO OFFENSE DUDE BUT WHO ARE U AND WHY IS KANYE FOLLOWING YOU’ for some tasty fizzy Scottish goodness.
When I was a young child I was told that the day would come that a game called ‘Gran Turismo 5′ would come out and be enjoyed by driving simulator fanatics across the world. Many years latter the masses had given up hope of the game ever making appearance, especially after the last prophecy, Duke Nukem Forever, failed to be released. Alas the patient have been rewarded and Gran Turismo 5 is set to hit the PS3 in November and as a reward Sony are letting people with lots of money treat themselves to some quite splendid special editions.
We had the teaser in Thursday, now we have the full length Medal Of Honor single player trailer soundtracked by Linkin Park and directed by Joe Hahn from the band. The song featured ‘The Catalyst’ made it’s debut in the trailer and is available to download now from iTunes and the likes. Call Of Duty gets Eminem, Medal Of Honor gets Linkin park. It feels like summer in the early 2000’s. Who will feature Alien Ant Farm?
