Just the other week some USA based tech blows were raving about the ability to do video calling on new Android handsets, now we have the new iPhone boasting video calls as a big feature – “People have been dreaming about video calling for decades. iPhone 4 makes it a reality” . Bands On Games: Lostaura

This week is the turn of Brighton band Lostaura to answer our questions on games and gadgets. Lostaura have been around since 2007 and have supported the likes of Bombay Bicycle Club, Band of Skulls and the Chapman Family on tour, and have attarcted the attention of BBC Introducing. Their new mini album ‘the Hiding Place’ is out this week and you catch the band on MySpace.

Killzone 2 was a very pretty game. Well, bloody grey warzones are not pretty, but it is still one of the best lookers on the PS3, and it’s sequel is looking to up the ante by presenting the stunning graphics in 3D. The game is set to be released around May 2011, and will have full 3D support – so time to start saving for yet another new TV if you are into that sort of thing. We have a raft of 2D screenshots, click the wee pics to make them nice and big.

The Public Defends: Hayley Williams

Facebook has recently been in the headlines over privacy issues. There are plenty of people who don’t seem to give a damn about privacy and will post secrets and risqué pictures of themselves online. The big problem comes when something you do something a bit risky and it accidentally goes public. In most cases this would lead to bit of embarrassment between friends. However when you are the lead singer of a famous band it becomes much more difficult to get rid of the image and laugh it off. On Friday morning UK time, a topless photo of Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams appeared on her own Twitter account. It was soon removed, but not before thousands of people had saved it and reuploaded it all over the net. She then claimed to have had her profile hacked – though if you hacked my page you wouldn’t find any nudies. So either someone hacked her computer, stole her phone or she accidentally made it public instead of sending it privately to a loved one. Hmmm.
