Now this is rather inventive, an interactive choose your own adventure 8-bit style game based on the new Twilight film and played through YouTube. Play part one below, it is worth a go even if you are not a fan as it pokes fun at the vampire/werewolf nonsense.

It’s been rather hot and sunny over the past week which makes gaming rather difficult. Now you might argue that you should put down the controller and head into the sun, but there is only so much burning rays that a human body can take before going on fire. After a day out at the beach or park it can be nice to go home for a bit of online slaughter. Plus hayfever is a good excuse to stay indoors. Lara Croft has been struggling for a few years now. Once the darling of the PlayStation 1, the transition to PS2 was a disaster. A new developer soon came in to freshen up the franchise but you were still in familiar territory – a third person platformer packed with shooting. Now we have a genuine new take on the franchise offering a different gameplay style, co-op and a new angle on proceedings. Could this be the shake up that Lara needs?
