Time to book the end of the year off work with the confirmation that the next part of the Fallout series, ‘New Vegas’ is to be released in the Autumn for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
The new title is a standalone release, not an add on, and will be powered by the same engine behind Fallout 3 – good news for PC players and the mod community, bad news to PS3 owners who have been struggling with the buggy ‘Game Of The Year Edition. Let’s hope some engine refinements are part of the workload for developers Obsidian, who were behind Fallout 1 & 2 back in the day.
The action escapes the wastelands of Washington DC for Nevada, already fans are speculating about potential mission locations – Area 51, The Strip and The Hoover Dam are the most hoped for so far.
