Let me set the scene that will be familiar to anyone who sometimes drinks at home: several days ago I was well and truly up against it. Unopened bottles were looming from every angle, and to compound matters, I was struggling to keep focused. I knew that hard work and concentration were the only things that would ensure all my drinking was done on time, and to a high standard. To do this it would be necessary to build a massive fort in my living room using all of my furniture.

Hollywood has not learnt its lesson and we have yet another video game adaptation hitting the big screen in the form of Tekken. The King Of Iron Fist Tournament is hardly known for it’s great story – family at war, throw each other off cliffs, turn into devils and bond by throwing more people off cliffs. David Jaffe, creator of the God Of War series and director of the first game, recieved a lot of flack online when he said the the latest in the series looked like a painting that had come to life.
Well I hope the doubters are eating lots of crow with these brand new screenshots. The game looks utterly stunning in these shots, possibly pipping Uncharted 2 to the post as the best looking game on the PlayStation 3. Stay tuned we should have a trailer up early in the week!
