Electric Spectre stands up and salutes the new poster for Terminator: Salvation. For it is awesome. Go look. Then come back. Go on. Shooo!
Yeah. Ace huh. We really, REALLY hope that Salvation can make up the damage done by T3 to our collective, Arnie worshiping psyches. It does have Christian Batman Bale, so hopes are high. Don’t let us down Hollywood.

Best. Poster. Ever.
1 CommentsCollagen…Is…People!
0 CommentsIt appears that human skin is being used to create Chinese beauty products. Yeah, that stuff you put on your face to make you look younger used to BE the face of an executed Chinese citizen.
Agents for the firm have told would-be customers it is developing collagen for lip and wrinkle treatments from skin taken from prisoners after they have been shot. The agents say some of the company’s products have been exported to the UK, and that the use of skin from condemned convicts is “traditional” and nothing to “make such a big fuss about”.
Enjoy your beauty regime ladies!

Duck And Cover Ain’t Gonna Cut It…
0 CommentsThanks to modern technology, we now have more than ever to be completely bloody terrified of, and nothing quite gets Electric Spectre cowering behind the sofa like the news, courtesy of top brainy doom mongers The Astrophysics Journal, that Galactus Is Coming! Well, maybe. Kinda. Sortof. According to William Reach of the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena:
“Observations of the cloud around the white dwarf G29-38 suggest it is most likely to be the shredded core of a gas-giant planet like Jupiter that has been devoured like a peach.”
I give it six months before a giant tuning-fork hat gets picked up by the Hubble.

Monkey See, Monkey Capture Through Use Of Light
0 CommentsIf like me, you enjoy both expressionist artwork and chimps who roller skate and smoke cigars, then rejoice, because top notch charity The Great Ape Trust (I’ve never trusted great apes myself, too many Roddy Mcdowell movies as a kid…) is holding another online auction where you can purchase yourself some avant-garde pictures and help out a good cause. Yep, ‘Apes Helping Apes’ is back for a second year with a full exhibition by our hairy cousins, and a lot of the work, like “riding in the car to get cherries”, above – painted and named (NAMED!! A Talking Ape!!) by Kanzi is spookily good.
Anyway, get over there and help out a damn dirty ape in need.
